宋星,现任走秀网(www.xiu.com)副总裁,主要工作地点在北京和深圳。在走秀网任职之前,宋星是Adobe Omniture事业部大中华区的首席商业咨询顾问。在Adobe任职期间,曾数次赴美国和澳洲工作,与国外同行实地交流网站分析经验。
在加入Adobe之前,宋星曾被任命为Omnicom Media Group旗下PHD上海的监测与分析总监(M&A Director),此前则是Omnicom Media Group旗下OMD北京的高级分析经理。在Omnicom集团任职之前,宋星在IPG集团下的MRM Worldwide北京公司任职领队分析顾问。
宋星是网站分析科学在中国的推广人,CWA的创始人,WAW(网站分析星期三)北京活动的联合创办人,也是百度和艾瑞咨询集团的常任讲师。
网站分析在中国博客,在Avinash Kaushik先生的最新著作“Web Analytics 2.0”中被推荐为全球值得阅读的15个网站分析博客。

The love to Internet research and web analytics makes Sidney focus on this field for 5 years. His passionate drives him to find deep insights and truth from multiple angles, which can help clients’ online campaign optimization directly.
His career succeeded to his university major after getting a master degree by studying on Web Economics and e-Commerce for 3 years. Sidney then practiced what he learned in Stock Star and Sun Media, two famous Chinese Internet companies, as product director. He got to know the true environment and situation about Chinese Internet industry from these two companies.
Before coming to MRM Worldwide, Sidney worked in Analysys International, one of the Chinese top 2 Internet research companies as chief analyst of Chinese e-Commerce market. It was a time to forge ahead with his own business learning's and success in this arena was also awarded as “Excellent Analyst” of the company for several very successful research projects for IBM.
2007 was the year that he came to MRM Worldwide. He made more efforts on complicated analysis and research here, e.g. not only in macro scale – Internet industry research he was familiar with before, but also in micro scale – a specific mini-site analysis to mine what the clients really need. Then he worked in Omnicom Media Group since 2008, Sidney Song is in charge of supervising Digital Campaign/Coop measurement and analytics as analytic director. Not only go on walking on the road of web analytics, but also merge his knowledge and experience to Online Ads and other digital marketing M&A field. It’s a much larger stage for him to handle more sophisticated projects, and time to make more difference.
2010, he joined Omniture, an Adobe Company, as Greater China Region's business consultant. The job just began, with all his efforts and dream, he will bring more beautiful while solid web analytics stories from international to China, and serve more Greater China's web analytics fans! Stay tuned!
